This project involved encapsulating six existing asphalt tennis courts with a new post-tensioned slab, all while carefully preserving the surrounding old-growth trees and existing site utilities. Existing site utilities were found to be inadequate and required repairs in several locations to resolve storm drain challenges consisting catch basin elevations and underground storm pipe damage. The transformation also included the addition of new concrete stadium seating at the showcase court, creating a premium viewing experience. Every detail, from the court finishes to the seating, was designed and executed to elevate the space while respecting the natural environment. Project was completed in a way that allowed members to access indoor courts all around the property while the entire exterior was under construction.
